The Tournament

One legend. One gold trophy mug. Immortality. Four weeks of entries. Four weeks of national voting. One crowning.

The Prize
The trophy. A one-of-one gold mug. There will never be another.

Winning is the roast.

This is not a competition you win quietly. The champion takes:

  • I

    The Gold Trophy Mug

One of one. Never re-issued. The single most prestigious insult in Australian drinkware.

  • II

    Store Credit

Enough to buy a mug for every person who has ever taken advantage of you.

  • III

    The Champions Page

Your story, immortalised on our site for as long as we exist. Runner-ups drink from standard ceramic like everyone else.

How It Works

Eight weeks. One champion.

ACT I · WEEKS 1–4

Entries open

Tell us your story below — or nominate a mate. They'll have to accept the nomination, which is its own ceremony.

ACT II · WEEKS 5–8

The public votes

Shortlisted stories go up on this site. Australia does what Australia does.

ACT III · THE CROWNING

One name in gold

The winner receives the trophy, the title, and a page on our site that their grandchildren will find.

Eligibility, Spiritually

What makes a Coffee Cuck?

  • 01

    Devotion without dignity

You've microwaved the same coffee three times and called it a routine.

  • 02

    Service to others

You do the coffee run. You have always done the coffee run. Nobody asked. Nobody thanks you.

  • 03

    Commitment to the bit

Your mug says something HR has questions about, and you bring it to the meeting anyway.

The Entry Form

State your case.

The best entries are specific. "I drove 40 minutes for her oat latte during a flood warning" beats "I love coffee."

Nominees must accept before their story is published. We'll email them. They'll love that.

The boring true bits: Open to Australian residents 18+. Entries close four weeks after competition open; public voting runs the four weeks after that. Winner by public vote with judging-panel tie-break (game of skill — entry is free, no purchase necessary). Nominated entrants must consent before publication. One entry per person. Keep it about yourself or a consenting mate — no naming private third parties. Stories published with first name + state only.
